Using the Safety Pod
While the Winbot X is cordless, it does require the use of the Safety Pod. Should your Winbot X unexpectedly lose power and drop from the window, the Safety Pod will prevent the robot from falling all the way to the floor or ground. This is especially important when using the Winbot on exterior windows.
To use the Safety Pod, first turn it on:
Once it's on, pull out the safety cable, and attach it to winbot. Insert the cable into the winbot, and turn it clockwise until you feel it lock:
Next, choose a spot on the window, and firmly press the safety pod to the glass. When it's successfully attached, the indicator light will glow a steady green:

It may take some trial and error on the best placement for the Safety Pod. We do suggest placing the Safety Pod as high on the window as possible.
Also, if using the Winbot X on an exterior window, we suggest the Safety Pod is attached on the interior side of the window, if possible.
Lastly, the length of the Safety Pod tether is 8 feet, 2 inches.
