Virtual Boundaries with the Deebot 900 / 901 / 907
Virtual Boundaries allow you prevent your robot from going into certain rooms or areas. Don’t want it to go into your home office? Draw a boundary in the app across the doorway and the DEEBOT will turn around and move to other areas.
To access virtual boundaries, you first must make a map. Just send your robot out for it's first cleaning - it will discover your home and create a map.
Once it does that, go to the app, and tap the little bricks icon in the lower right hand corner:
Now you will be able to add a virtual boundary anywhere on the map.
First, tap on the virtual icon on the lower left. You will then be able to drag and drop a virtual boundary anywhere on the map. You can create a straight line boundary, or a box if you want to exclude a certain area. Click the little green checkbox to save it.
To edit or remove a virtual boundary, tap on the edit button on the lower right. You will now be able to alter the virtual boundary, or completely remove it.
Once you save your boundaries, your robot will now avoid rooms or problem areas as it smartly navigates your home.
